<p>MAMOU – Graveside services will be held at 11:30 AM at Aucoin Manuel Cemetery on Tuesday, August 11, 2020 for Mitchell Wayne Fontenot, 55, who passed away on Sunday, August 9, 2020 in Mamou, Louisiana.</p> <p>Father Billy Massie will conduct the service.</p> <p>Burial will take place in Aucoin Manuel Cemetery.</p> <p>Mitchell is survived by his mother, Audrey Vidrine and stepfather Donald Vidrine of Mamou; sisters, Dee Ann Laughlin and husband, Oran of Rayne, Brandy Vidrine and husband, Kyle of Mamou, Mistie Aucoin and husband, Jonathan, Jr. of Oberlin; daughter, Melany Champagne and husband, Nathan of Youngsville; son, Brandon Fontenot of Houston, TX; and grandchildren, Max and Kennedy Champagne.</p> <p>He is preceded in death by his father, Richard Fontenot.</p> <p>At the request of the family, visitation will be observed at Ardoin’s Funeral Home in Mamou on Tuesday, August 11, 2020 from 9:00 AM until 11:00 AM. </p> <p>Family and friends may leave condolences for the Fontenot family at www.ardoinfuneralhomes.com.</p> <p>Ardoin’s Funeral Home in Mamou is in charge of arrangements.</p> <p> </p>Obituary
