Susan Chesley OXFORD - Susan Chesley, 63, died Friday August 7, 2020 at her home with her family by her side. She was born October 18, 1956 in Lewiston the daughter of Clifton and Emily (West) Sprague. Susan graduated from Oxford Hills High School and went on to obtain an Associate’s Degree in Nursing at Central Maine Technical College. She married Dennis Chesley June 25, 1977. She was an RN; she worked for local nursing homes including the Maine Veterans Home in South Paris for over 12 years. Susan attended Grace Baptist Church. She enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren especially when it came time for school shopping. She was also very supportive of her husband’s band, the Country Ridge Riders who have been performing for over 40 years. She is survived by her husband Dennis Chesley Sr.; a son Christopher Chesley, wife Amy Chesley and their daughter Arianah Chesley; a daughter Jessica Brothers her husband Sean and kids Sean Jr. and Autumn; two brothers Buddy Sevon and Eddie Sevon; a sister Sally Cram; several nieces and nephews. Susan was predeceased by a son Dennis, Jr in 2010. A Celebration of Susan’s Life will be held Saturday, September 5th from 12-4 at the family home at 252 Webber Brook Road, Oxford.
