<p>Dwight D. (Dean-o) Bertsch, age 80, of Sidney, passed away August 8, 2020, at his residence. He was born November 9, 1939, in Sidney, to the late Donald and Doris (Richards) Bertsch.</p> <p>He married Connie (Fess) Bertsch June 18, 1966, and she survives.</p> <p>Also surviving are son, Rodney Bertsch and husband John Wagoner of Monroe, Ohio, daughter, JoAnn and husband David Shinall of Piqua, four grandchildren; Rachel and husband TJ Supinger, Kiefer Bertsch, Tyler Shinall, MiKalah and husband Coty Porter and one great- great- grandchild Evelyn Supinger,&nbsp; two sisters; Pat Ferree of Sidney and Donna (Jack) Hohlmayer of Ft. Myers, Florida.</p> <p>A sister, Sylvia Wolters preceded him in death.</p> <p>Dwight proudly served in the U S Air Force. He was a member of St. John&rsquo;s Lutheran Church of Sidney. He retired after many years of faithful service from the former Amos Press/Vision Mark Corporation where he was a graphic arts specialist. He enjoyed many things including woodworking, bird watching, fishing, camping, hunting, mushroom hunting and reading his favorite books. He loved spending time with his family and friends and will be missed by all who knew him.</p> <p>Family and friends may visit on Friday, August 14, 2020, from 12:00 p.m. until 1:00 p.m. at the Adams Funeral Home, 1401 Fair Road, Sidney. Graveside services will be held at 1:30 p.m. at Pearl Cemetery in Swanders.</p> <p>On line memories may be made at theadamsfuneralhome.com.</p> <p><strong>At the request of Gov. DeWine, social distancing and wearing of masks will be required at the visitation and the graveside services.</strong></p> <p>&nbsp;</p>
