Bonnie Lee Miller, 97 of Baker, WV died on Saturday, August 8, 2020 at the E.A. Hawse Nursing and Rehab Center in Baker, WV. Bonnie was born on May 30, 1923 in Needmore, WV, a daughter of the late Adam Lee Miller and Beulah Wilkins Miller. She was a member of the New Dale Church of the Brethren near Baker, WV. Bonnie enjoyed gardening, canning and in her younger years, sewing. Bonnie married James L. “Jim” Miller on December 23, 1939. Jim died on August 11, 1998. Surviving is a son: James C. “Carson” Miller and wife Linda of Fulks Run, VA; a daughter: Gail Bowman and husband Keith of Winchester, VA; three grandchildren: Cheryl Mullins, Baxter & James Bowman; a great-grandson: Benjamin Mullins and a good friend & neighbor: Linda Miller Funk. She is preceded in death by an infant son and a brother: Logan “Cub” Miller. A graveside service will be held in the New Dale Church Cemetery in Baker, WV on Tuesday, August 11, 2020 at 2 PM. Officiating will be Pastor Dan Sterns. There will be a time to visit at the Loy-Giffin Funeral Home & Crematory from 9-11 AM on Tuesday.
