Margaret Langley

Margaret Jean (Braithwaite) Langley passed away peacefully on August 7th, 2020, in Kindersley, SK, Canada at the age of 89.

Margaret is survived by her children, Nigel (Julie) Langley of Skipsea, England, Gaynor (Gary) Swales of Albrough, England, Nicholas (Linda) Langley of Red Deer, AB., and Julian (Jennifer) Langley of Paradise Hill, SK, and her sister Christine (Roy) Grunwell of England. She is preceded in death by her loving husband, Vernon, her parents, Walter and Nellie, her brothers Jeffrey and Keith, and sisters Pauline and Anne.

Margaret was born on January 3rd, 1931 in Bramley, England. She married Vernon Langley, in 1955. During their 63 years of marriage the couple welcomed 4 children, 6 grandchildren, and 6 great-grandchildren into their family.

Margaret was an office administrator in a Woolen Mill and then ran a farm together with Vernon. They also ran a vegetable farm, with their own garden market.  Margaret and Vernon then moved to Canada in 1995. Margaret had a passion for spending time with family, reading, music, going out for coffee, and visiting with friends.

The funeral arrangements were entrusted to the Kindersley Community Funeral Home. A small family service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Society of Saskatchewan in her memory. The family would like to thank the wonderful staff of Heritage Manor, for their care, dedication, and professional support.
