Dorothy "Dot" Price Lloyd, 81, of Belzoni, Mississippi peacefully went to be with the Lord on August 8, 2020 at Baptist Hospital in Yazoo City, Mississippi. She was born on September 6, 1938 in Poplar Creek Community in Montgomery County to Robert Elam Price, Sr. and Iris Manning Price.

She was an active member of Gooden Lake Baptist Church where she faithfully served as a pianist for over fifty year, as well as Sunday School teacher and church secretary. She loved her family and all people but above all she loved her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

Dot worked at Citizens Bank in Belzoni, now know as BankPlus, for over 30 years. She loved her job, fellow employees and her customers. Prior to working for Dr. T. J. Barkley of Belzoni.

She was preceded in death by her husband William "Billy" Lloyd, whom she was married for 51 years. She was also preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Iris Price, and her great granddaughter, Lindey Erin Wood.

Dot is survived by her daughter, Terry Wood (Jerry) of Belzoni, Mississippi , her sons, Dale Lloyd (Teresa) of Batesville, Mississippi and Keith Lloyd (Lori) of Belzoni, Mississippi. She also leaves behind eight granchildren whom she adored: Jay Wood (Monica), Ann Wise (Will), Brittany Hendrix (Matt), Turner Lloyd, Mary Catherine Magee (Michael), Rachel Lloyd, Anna Lloyd, and Olivia Lloyd. She also had six great granchildren, Swazye Bell, Parker Bell, Ava Claire Wise, Ryleigh Peyton Wood, Trace Wood and Cameron Grace Hendrix.
She is also survived by her brother, Robert Price (Bea) of Isola, Mississippi and a sister, LaNell Causey (Henry) of Missouri.

Because of Covid-19, we will have a graveside service on Monday, August 10, 2020, at 2:00 pm at Greencrest Gardens in Belzoni, Mississippi. Mortimer Funeral Home will be entrusted with the arrangements.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be send to Blair E. Batson Hospital for Children, Gideon's International, and St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
