Mark Allen Anderson, 67, of Blackduck, MN died on Thursday, August 6, 2020 in his home in Hornet Township. No services will be held at this time per his wishes. Mark was born on March 17, 1953 in Brainerd, MN, the son of Lawrence and Leila (Klein) Anderson. He attended school in Brainerd and graduated from there in 1971. He married Carla Bergren and together they had 3 children, Leah, Paul, and Rita. Mark worked as a machinist with Burlington Northern/Santa Fe Railroad for many years. After his retirement in 1993 they moved to Blackduck. Mark enjoyed duck hunting, deer hunting, fishing, and metal working. Mark is survived by his wife, Carla Anderson; a son, Paul (Tonya) Anderson of Blackduck, MN; 2 daughters, Leah (Kevin) Stroeing of Blackduck, MN and Rita (Trent) Baysinger of Moscow, ID; his mother Leila “Dolly” Anderson of Brainerd, MN; 3 sisters, Diane (Warren) Heywood of San Angelo, TX, Joan (Paul) Jenkins of Brainerd, MN, and Shari (Todd) DeChaine of Brainerd, MN; his grandchildren, Oliver Stroeing, Maureen Stroeing, Henry Baysinger, Virgil Baysinger, and Alma Baysinger; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Edwin Anderson.
