James Franklin "Jim" Ashcraft Obituary

James Franklin "Jim" Ashcraft, 71, of Rogers, Arkansas passed away Thursday, August 6, 2020. He was born September 17, 1948 in Dermott, Arkansas to the late Horace and Faye Whatley Ashcraft. He was a McGehee Owl football player where he graduated from McGehee High School in 1966. James was a graduate of University of Arkansas at Fayetteville. He worked for Franklin Electric Company for many years before retiring. James loved to hunt and fish. He is preceded in death by his parents. Survivors include his wife, Faye Masters Ashcraft; three sons, Brent (Nicole) Stoufer of Prairie Grove, AR, Jeff Dehn of Jacksonville, AR and John (Megan) Ashcraft of Overland Park, KS; grandchildren, Magen, Abygale, Haley, Elizabeth, Joshua, Jeffery James, Noah, Dylan and Claire; and numerous great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held at 1:00-1:45 PM Wednesday, August 12, 2020 at Griffin-Culpepper Funeral Service in McGehee, AR. Graveside service will follow at 2:00 PM at McGehee Cemetery with Rev. Jerry Starnes officiating.
