Elinor Marie Lane
Elinor M. Lane passed away peacefully on August 6, 2020. She was 98 years old. Elinor was born in Portland, Oregon and grew up in the St. John’s neighborhood. She graduated from Jefferson High School. During WWII, Elinor was a “Rat Patcher” on Liberty Ships built at Swan Island Sip Yard. At the end of the ward, Elinor toured the NW as a professional dancer under the stage name of Dianne Carroll. While touring, she met and married country singer, Warren Morgan (Bouslaugh). In 1955, she moved to Lake Oswego. Many Lake Oswego folks will remember her big smile and great customer service behind the meat counter at Wizer’s Foods for 30 years.
