<p><span style="font-size:18px;"><strong>William “Bill” Thomas Hingston Johns, II., age 88 of Clarkesville, Georgia passed away on Friday, August 07, 2020 at his residence following an extended illness.</strong></span></p> <p><span style="font-size:18px;"><b>Born in Bayside, New York on July 17, 1932, he was the son of the late John Johns and Elizabeth Gordon Johns. Bill served his country as a captain in the United States Army and fought proudly in the Korean Conflict as a helicopter pilot. Bill and his family lived overseas for 26 years and retired to Clarkesville.</b></span></p> <p><span style="font-size:18px;"><b>He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Susan Pavlick Johns; daughter, Samantha Johns Richardson; daughter and son-in-law, Katharine Johns Buck & Braden Buck; daughter, Georgia S.
