Caroline Paine

NORWAY Caroline Paine, 72, of South Paris died Thursday, August 6th at the Stephens Memorial Hospital She was born July 2, 1948 in Norway the daughter of George and Pearl (Shortridge) Paine. Caroline was a graduate of Oxford Hills schools and later attended the Glen Cove Bible College in Glen Cove Maine. For most of her life she worked for the family business, Paine’s Carpentry. Caroline was a member of the South Paris Baptist Church, being very active in the youth group programs. She loved gardening, was a talented seamstress, and enjoyed researching the family genealogy. She is survived by her brother Anthony Paine and his wife Joan; 2 nieces Lisa Keisman and Anna Cyr; and a nephew Andy Paine. Caroline was predeceased by her parents and an infant brother Carl. A graveside service will be held 10 am Thursday at the Riverside Annex Cemetery in So Paris Arrangements are with Chandler Funeral Home, South Paris.
