David A. Hobart

<p>David went home to be with the Lord on&nbsp;August 6th, 2020&nbsp;surrounded by his family at his home in Denver, Colorado.&nbsp; A Denver native, David was born&nbsp;on&nbsp;December 31st, 1946.&nbsp; David was the second of 4 children: Margie, Marsha, and Keith.&nbsp; He attended Lincoln High School and enlisted in the Army at age 17. David faithfully served his country in the United States Army&nbsp;as a&nbsp;talented tank mechanic stationed in Germany. Upon his Honorable Discharge, David then spent the remainder of his professional career as a Denver Law Enforcement Officer for 36 years.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>During his retirement from public service, David spent his time as a skilled mechanic and tradesman as a subject matter expert for just about everything.&nbsp; He was known for always being available for lending assistance to his friends, family and those with any project or problem.&nbsp; David was a man of his word and meant what he said, often not afraid to tell you if you were doing it wrong!&nbsp; &nbsp;With all of his accolades and achievements, David remained a humble man who celebrated quietly, but reveled in the accomplishments of others showcasing this man of genuine character.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>David is survived by his wife, Monarae; his daughters Stephanie and husband Eric, Tiffany, Janel and husband Mark; stepdaughters Marlarae and partner Nick, Hannah and husband Michael: stepson Shawn; grandchildren Nader, Emad, Breck, Adrick, Gage, Jake, Molly, Luke, Raelee, Stevielynn; great-grandchildren Eva and Leo. Obituary

David went home to be with the Lord on August 6th, 2020 surrounded by his family at his home in Denver, Colorado.  A Denver native, David was born on December 31st, 1946.  David was the second of 4 children: Margie, Marsha, and Keith.  He attended Lincoln High School and enlisted in the Army at age 17.
