Rebecca Ann Marsh Warsaw, Indiana Obituary

Rebecca Ann Marsh

Rebecca Ann Marsh, known to many as “Becky,” passed away quietly on Thursday, August 6, 2020 at 6:49 a.m. in Kosciusko Community Hospital. Age 75 at the time of her passing, she was a longtime Warsaw resident. Becky was born on July 26, 1945 in Kosciusko County and was the daughter of Alvin and Doris (Craig) Barnes. She was a 1963 graduate of Churubusco High School and was the last of three Barnes siblings, preceded in passing by her brother, Dennis Barnes and sister, Betty Hess. Becky loved time spent with family who remember her especially for laughter around board games together and for summer evening cookouts. She was a caring, devoted grandmother and had also cared for children in her home for many years. Although she worked at R.R. Donnelley and Sons for some time, her heart was in childcare. She enjoyed fishing but was never happier than when she was with her grandchildren – no matter the activity. On March 7, 1985, Becky was married to Robert “Bob” Marsh. In addition to her brother and sister, Bob preceded her in passing as did a son, Raymond Menzie. Those who survive with memories to cherish include her son, Russell Menzie, Jr. of Columbia City; four granddaughters: Rachel (Andrew) Ferrell of Columbia City, Renee (Benjamin) Feltz of Nashville, TN, Richelle Menzie of Columbia City and Megan Menzie of Leesburg; two grandsons: Riley Menzie and Ryan Menzie of Leesburg and daughter-in-law, Norma Garcia of Leesburg. Friends may join the family for visitation on Saturday, August 8, 2020 at 11 a.m. in Warsaw’s Titus Funeral Home, 2000 East Sheridan Street. Beginning at Noon, Titus Funeral Home’s Funeral Celebrant, Sharon Brockhaus will lead Becky’s Life Celebration® service. Burial will follow in Warsaw’s Oakwood Cemetery. Memorial gifts may be directed to Disabled American Veterans (D.A.V), 708 W Pike St, Goshen, IN 46526.
