Passed peacefully away at the Health Sciences Centre, St. John’s, NL, on Tuesday, August 04, 2020, LEONARD JOHN HYNES, of St. Bernard’s, NL, in his 72nd year. Leaving to mourn his brother Gerry (Joan), St. Bernard’s, and his sisters Hilda Power (Dave), St. John’s, and Bridget Lake (Joe), St. John’s, nieces and nephews and a large circle of other relatives and friends.

Leonard is predeceased by his parents Stanley and Ursula Hynes, and his brother Stanley.

The Hynes Family will accept visitors at Sacred Heart R.C. Church in St. Bernard’s. In order to maintain social distancing and to follow the public health advisory of COVID 19, a walk through visitation will take place on Thursday, August 06th, 2020 from 5 pm – 9 pm. A maximum of 20 people at any one time permitted.

A private funeral mass, by invitation only, will be held at Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church, St. Bernard’s on Friday, August 07th, 2020 at 3 PM. Interment will follow at the Roman Catholic Church Cemetery in St. Bernard’s, NL.
