New Iberia - A Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 am, on Tuesday, August 11, 2020, at Pellerin Funeral Home in New Iberia, for Anthony Ray LeBlanc, Jr., 23, who passed away on Wednesday, August 5, 2020. Interment will follow at St. John Cemetery in Jeanerette. A gathering of family and friends will be Monday from 3:00 pm until 9:00 pm at Pellerin Funeral Home. Visitation will continue on Tuesday from 8:00 am until 10:00 am. A lifelong area resident, Anthony was born on February 20, 1997 in New Iberia. He loved racing and working on cars, especially Mustangs. Anthony also enjoyed riding motorcycles, teaching his little cousin how to drive, and spending time with his family and friends, especially with his mom. He is survived by his mother, Renee (companion Allen Hebert, Sr.) LeBlanc of Maurice; father, Anthony Ray (companion Shonda Owens) LeBlanc, Sr. of Jeanerette; brothers, Dylan (companion Randi Barrilleaux) LeBlanc of Berwick and Zachary (companion Kassie LeBlanc) LeBlanc of New Iberia; grandparents, Walter and Alice Hoofard and Elaine Blanchard of New Iberia; several aunts, uncles, and cousins; nieces, Payton Fremin, niece and godchild, Coraline LeBlanc, and Amara LeBlanc; nephew, Jase Eskind; stepsisters, Sharon Owens and Blair Owens; stepbrothers, Tristain Owens and Allen Hebert, Jr.; stepsisters, India Scott and Kimberly Leger; godchild, Hughes "Huey" Blanchard, IV, and great grandmother, Lydia Blanchard. He is preceded in death by his brother, Matthew LeBlanc; grandparents, Melvin and Mary LeBlanc; uncle, Skipper LeBlanc; aunt, Shelia "Bull Dog" Blanchard; and great grandfather, Hughes Blanchard, Sr.. Pallbearers will be Anthony Ray LeBlanc, Sr., Dylan LeBlanc, Zachary LeBlanc, Bailey Bertrand, Jerome LeBlanc, and Adam Leonard, III. Honorary pallbearers include Trey Bertrand, Ivy John Romero, Sr., Allen Hebert, Sr., Tristan Owens, and Will Requardt. The family would like to give special thanks to Michell MaGee, Mona Landry and Hospice of Acadiana.
