Weber, Iva Blanche: Passed away peacefully on the morning of Sunday August 2, 2020 at the age of 93 at Fairview Mennonite Home. All of her siblings have predeceased her but she is survived by her many nieces and nephews, grand nieces and grand nephews and great grand nieces and nephews. She will be missed by her extended family and friends. Iva was a career driven secretary and executive assistant who never married. She worked in various institutions in the Kitchener-Waterloo and Toronto Regions with the Kaufman Rubber Company Ltd., the Universities of Toronto and Waterloo, and Sherway Gardens Shopping Centre being the main ones. She will be remembered for her passionate work ethic and also for the many volunteer positions she held over the years. Her laughter, pleasantness and kindly disposition will be remembered by all who were touched by her life. Our thanks to the staff of Fergus Place Retirement Home and Fairview Mennonite Home for their care for Iva over these past few years of her life. A private graveside will be held at Hagey Cemetery on August 6, 2020 at 1:30 PM. As expressions of sympathy, donations to The Tyndale Foundation or St. Giles Kingsway Presbyterian Church (Toronto) would be appreciated by the family (cards available at the funeral home).
