Donna Geraldine Sheehan, 85, of Ottumwa, died at 3:13 a.m. August 2, 2020 at Ottumwa Regional Health Center. She was born June 18, 1935 in Ottumwa to Donald L. and Florence Morrow Jones Sr. She married William Patrick Sheehan and he preceded her in death in 1978. A graduate of Ottumwa High School, Donna worked as a Registered Nurse in a maternity unit while living in Colorado for close to 10 years. Returning to Ottumwa, she worked at several nursing homes including Jefferson Square and Good Samaritan Nursing and Rehab Center. She loved her grandkids and enjoyed attending their baseball and softball games. She enjoyed bowling and walked most everywhere she went. She also enjoyed going to Tama with her girlfriends. Surviving are two sons, Chris (Rhonda) Sheehan and Tony Sheehan (fiancé, Tabitha Wymer) both of Ottumwa; four grandchildren, Nicholas, Ashley, Connor and Mackenzie; a sister, Patty Hagerman of Albia. She was preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Mary Stangl; and her twin brother, Don Jones. Private funeral services will be 10 a.m. Thursday, August 6th at Reece Funeral Home.
