Kennedy, NY - Dolores M. Maynard, 83, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, August 1, 2020, in Lakewood, New York of natural causes. She was born April 8, 1937 in Bradford, Pa. the daughter of the late George and Josephine (Saulsgiver) Campbell. Dolores was a 1955 graduate of Mayville High School and retired in 2002 from Truck-Lite in Falconer, New York. Dolores and her late husband Richard had attended the First Baptist Church of Randolph. She enjoyed bowling, bingo, crocheting and playing cards, especially Poker. Surviving are four sons; Mike Maynard, with whom she shared a home in Kennedy, Randy Maynard of Gerry, Steven Maynard and wife Kimberly of Puryear, TN, and Dan Maynard and wife Vicki of Fremont, OH, 16 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren , two siblings; Richard Campbell and wife “Babe” of Jamestown and Jean “Peach” Anderson and husband Clair of Randolph. She was preceded in death by her parents, George and Josephine, husband Richard I. Maynard, who she married on February 11, 1956 and who preceded her on October 5, 1988, step-father, Glenn “Bud” Morrison, a great grand-daughter and siblings, Donald and James Campbell. The family will receive relatives and friends from 4-7 Wednesday, (August 5, 2020) from the Van Rensselaer & Son Funeral Home, 14 Church Street, Randolph, NY. Social distancing and masks are required. Funeral services will be held for the family and close friends on Thursday at 11:00 AM, from the First Baptist Church of Randolph. The Rev. Mike Herdzik, pastor of New Beginnings Baptist Church in Kennedy will officiate. Burial will follow in the Randolph Cemetery.
