<p><strong><span style="font-size:16px;">Tabor City, NC</span></strong></p> <p><strong><span style="font-size:16px;">Roxanne Nobles McDowell, age 63, died Sunday, August 2, 2020 in her home.&nbsp; Born July 30, 1957 in Columbus County, NC, she was the daughter of the late Willie Howard Nobles and Roxie Green Nobles.&nbsp;</span></strong></p> <p><strong><span style="font-size:16px;">She is survived by her fianc&eacute;: Ottis Martin of Tabor City, NC; one daughter: Misty McDowell (Aaron McCumbee) of Clarendon, NC; one son: James McDowell III (Tiffany) of Nakina, NC; one brother: Jimmy Wayne Nobles of Chadbourn, NC; three sisters: Pansey Todd of Cerro Gordo, NC, Lorrain Blackwell of Whiteville, NC, and Debbie Smith of Cerro Gordo, NC; one step daughter: Cassandra Martin of Huntsville, AL; and eight grandchildren.</span></strong></p> <p><strong><span style="font-size:16px;">In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers: David Mark Nobles and James Howard Nobles.</span></strong></p> <p><strong><span style="font-size:16px;">A graveside service will be held Wednesday, August 5, 2020 at 10:00 AM in the Myrtle Green Cemetery.</span></strong></p> <p><strong><span style="font-size:16px;">Visitation will be held after the service in the cemetery.</span></strong></p> <p><em><span style="font-size:18px;"><strong>Due to the COVID-19 Pandemic social distancing will be observed and a mask is recommended.</strong></span></em></p> <p><strong><span style="font-size:16px;">&nbsp;</span></strong></p> <p><strong><span style="font-size:16px;">A service of Inman Ward Funeral Home and Crematory.</span></strong></p> <p>&nbsp;</p>

To the family of Roxanne, I am praying for the entire family that GOD will continue to give you the strength to press on.  I worked at the sewing factory with Roxanne and Pansy and Debra was my class mate.  Keep looking up to the hills from whence coming thine help.
