Twila Rae Brewer

Twila Rae Brewer (Tweedie), widow of Darrell Brewer, passed away on Monday, July 27, 2020 at the age of 67. She went peacefully in her home in Denver. She was born on January 27, 1953 in Pine Ridge, South Dakota, the daughter of Frank and Belva (Byrd) Stoldt. She attended Stephan High School. Twila is survived by her children; Christopher (James Manda) Brewer, and Nicole (Joey) Wolfe; Granddaughter’s, Paityn, Ava, and Blake Wolfe; Sisters, Rosalie (Stoldt) Brewer and Sherry Stoldt; Brother, Marvey Stoldt; And many loving nieces and nephews. Tweedie married Darrell Steven Brewer in 1975 and settled in Denver, Colorado. She worked many years as a Dietary Aid and most recently at a rehabilitation clinic for 15 years until she retired in 2019. Tweedie was fun loving, humorous, adventurous, and up for anything she put her mind to. She has run marathons, mastered paint and chalk drawings, pottery, and sewing countless Halloween costumes, dresses, and crazy outfit requests from anyone. She was creative and always teaching herself more. She loved cooking homemade meals and hosting Thanksgiving dinners, but enjoyed trying out different restaurants too. Tweedie absolutely loved spending time with her children and grandchildren. She was very compassionate towards animals, especially her cats. She cared for not only her cats, but several outdoor wild cats. Tweedie was strong willed and feisty till the very end. Her laugh was contagious and she could always make people comfortable with her light hearted humor. Due to the pandemic, there will not be a formal service.
