Connie Rae Rhodes, 66, of Thornton Colorado passed away peacefully on July 14, 2020, surrounded by family in her home. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, an invitation-only memorial service will be held at The Crossing Church of the Nazarene on Saturday, August 8, 2020, at 2:00 PM with Reverend Ric Martinez officiating. To accommodate the current pandemic, we will be holding an invitation-only visitation at the Rhodes' home on August 7, 2020, from 3 - 7 PM. In lieu of flowers, please make memorials to St. Jude Children's Hospital or The Crossing Church of the Nazarene. Connie was born in Denver, CO on June 12, 1954, to H. Leroy and Betty (Wheatley) Reeves. She graduated from Arvada High school and received a Batchelor of Arts degree in Accounting from Anderson University, Anderson. IN. She met the love of her life, Brad Rhodes, while in college and they married on October 6, 1978. Their marriage was blessed with two daughters, Brittany and Cassie. Her greatest joy was being surrounded by her family, and spending time in the mountains. Connie was a blessing and a light to all that she touched. She devoted her life to the Lord and served as an example of his love and forgiveness. She loved music, and worshiping God, and passed on that love to her children. She is survived by her husband Brad Rhodes, Thornton, Colorado; daughters Brittany (Patrick), Edgewater, New Jersey; Cassandra Rhodes, Thornton, Colorado; brothers Ken (Chris) Reeves, Brighton, Colorado; Russ (Kelly), Arvada, Colorado; nephews Chad (Diana) Reeves and their 3 children, Broomfield, Colorado; Nathan Rhodes, Anderson, Indiana; Daryl Rhodes, Anderson, Indiana; Dylan Rhodes, Anderson Indiana, nieces Aimee (Matt) Dunlap, Brighton, CO, and their 4 children; Petty Officer 2nd Class Alexis Reeves USCG, San Francisco California; Kaitlyn Rhodes, Cincinnati, Ohio; Kylie Rhodes, Cincinnati, Ohio, Danielle McClendon, Anderson, Indiana.
