Trudie R. Talbott, 75 of Elk Point, South Dakota passed away peacefully on Tuesday, July 28, 2020 at Prairie Estates Care Center in Elk Point after a courage battle of cancer for four years. Abiding her wishes, there will be no services being planned. Kober Funeral Home of Elk Point has been entrusted with the services. Trudie Talbott was born on December 29, 1944 in Sioux City, the daughter of Raymond & Josephine (Sullivan) Talbott. She attended and graduated from Elk Point in 1962. She worked at John Deere for many years in parts department in Elk Point. She later worked as a part-time librarian in Elk Point Library. Her last employment was at Prairie Estates doing the laundry and cooking in the kitchen for 15 years. She loved to spend her time in crocheting as much as she possibly can. Trudie is survived by her sister, Judy (Ron) Hoffman of Elk Point; two nephews, Jody (Trena) Hoffman and Jamie (Le Anne) Hoffman; and two great-nieces of Thomaston, Connecticut. She was preceded in death by her parents, and a great-niece, Emily.
