It is with great sadness that the family of the late BLANCHE CROWLEY of Grand Bank announces her passing at the Burin Peninsula Health Care Centre in Burin on Saturday, July 18th , 2020 at the age of 89.  Leaving to mourn with a lifetime of wonderful memories are her son, Gary Crowley (Juliette) of Fortune; grandchildren, Travis (June) and Erika (Adam); great-grandson, Liam Crowley; sister, Rose Green of Grand Bank; sister-in-law, Margaret Hickman of Fortune; special niece, Judy Foote (Howard) who she loved as a daughter; caregivers, Ella Simms and Tina Billard; plus a large circle of relatives and friends.

Blanche is predeceased by her husband, Carl Crowley; parents, Thomas & Sarah Hickman; parents-in-law, Herbert & Mary Crowley; sisters, Delsie Grandy (James), Martha Petrie (Frank), Mary Healey (Victor), and Jean Buffett (Hubert); brothers, John Hickman, and Garfield Hickman (Florence); brothers-in-law, Caleb Green, Gordon Crowley, Lyman Crowley, and Wilson Crowley; sisters-in-law, Alice Stewart, Margaret Gold, and Jean Billings.

In honoring her wishes, cremation has taken place.

Due to the current Public Health Advisory of COVID-19 a private family funeral service will take place at Wiseman's Funeral Home, Grand Bank, NL on Friday, October 9th, 2020 at 11:00am with inurnment to follow at the United Church Cemetery, Grand Bank, NL. 

In Blanche’s memory, in-lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Grand Bank United Church, P.O. Box 369 Grand Bank, NL A0E 1W0.
