Beverly (Carlisle) Severance, 91 of Wolfeboro passed away peacefully on Thursday July 23, 2020 at Mountain View Community, Ossipee, NH where she had been a resident since December 2016.

Born September 16, 1928 in Westfield, MA.  She graduated from Brewster Academy where she met and married her High School sweetheart William M. Severance (deceased 1989).  After she married in 1947, she and her husband lived in Rye and Dover NH and returned to Wolfeboro in 1969.

Beverly worked at the J. Clifton Avery Insurance Agency for over 20 years retiring in 1993.  She and her husband enjoyed the ocean and spent summers at Sea Vu Campground in Wells, ME.  She attended First Baptist Church Wolfeboro and led Women’s Bible Study for many years.

She is survived by her two sons Scott Severance his wife Janice of Wolfeboro and David Severance of Moultonborough.  Five grandchildren Rachael Severance of Westbrook, ME, Neal Severance of Canyon Lake, TX, Ryan Severance wife Laura of Gurnee, IL, Claudia Severance her fiancé Rob Stoecklein of Tucson, AZ and Graham Severance of Moultonborough. One great-grand daughter Morgan Severance of Gurnee, IL.   One brother Bruce Coburn wife Linda of York, ME.

A graveside service will be held Friday July 31St at 11:00am at the Lakeview Cemetery North Main St., Wolfeboro.
