Mr. Ollie Gilbert, Jr. beloved father and grandfather, born March 19, 1933, passed away on July 20, 2020 at the age 87.
Mr. Gilbert was preceded by his father and mother, Ollie Gilbert, Sr. and Myrtle Gilbert; and his sisters, Polly Thomason, and Dorthy "Dot" Chambers.
He is survived by his son, Darryl Gilbert; daughter, D'Ann Gilbert-Barnett; grandchildren, Shelby Barnett, Anna Barnett, Paige Epperson, and Kyle Gilbert; and three great grandchildren.
A time of visitation we be held Wednesday, July 29, 2020 from 11:00 am to 12:30 pm, with a Celebration of Life to follow at 12:30 pm. Services will be held at Crestview Memorial Funeral Home Adamsville, Alabama 35005. Interment will be at Winston Memorial Cemetery, 96 County Road 36, Haleyville, AL 35565.
