Charlene M. Jimison, 98, died Sunday (July 19) at Mountain View Manor in Eureka, Mt.  She was born March 31, 1922 at Claresholm, Alberta to John and Anna Smedstad and, along with her late husband Harold , had been a longtime resident of Shelby.  He preceded her in death in 1972.  She later wintered in Arizona and spent summers with her daughter in Eureka until remaining there permanently several years ago.  She was also preceded in death by 2 sons.

Survivors include her daughter Sandy Ryberg of Eureka; 3 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.  Graveside services will be held at Mountain View Cemetery in Shelby on Monday August 3 at 11:00 a.m.  Condolences may be shared online by visiting www.schnackenbergfh.com
