Aaron Lee Anaquod

December 10, 1982 – July 16, 2020

The family is deeply saddened to announce the passing of Aaron Lee Anaquod on July 16, 2020 at the age of 37. Aaron was born in Regina Saskatchewan on December 10, 1982.

Aaron leaves to mourn his wife Kim, daughter Casey and son Triton and Mom Denise. He is also survived by his brothers: Doug, Darcy (Clover), Andre; his sisters Jerri-Lyn, Lori (Floyd), Tara (Billie), Heather-Lauri (Greg), and Cheyenne (Tim); and very special nices and nephews Bailey, Mattea, Matthew, Aiden, Anthony, Jerri, Erica, Wynter and Jacob.

Aaron was predeceased by his grandparents Andrew and Florence Bird, Vincent and Miriam Anaquod, his father Larry, his mother Val, and his brother Vinnie as well as numerous cousins, aunties, and uncles.

Aaron enjoyed the outdoors and liked to fish whenever he was at the lake. He liked traveling and setting up the trailer whether it was at a lake or park or at pow-wows. It is especially note-worthy how much he loved his children and his numerous nieces and nephews and watching them dance. He enjoyed working and was always eager to learn new trades. He took pleasure in working on his home and yard on the Muscowpetung First Nation. Aaron was a true Roughriders fan.

A celebration of Aaron’s life will commence on Thursday July 23, 2020 at 4:00 p.m. at the Kaniswapit Central School gymnasium on Muscopwpetung First Nation and on Friday July 24, 2020  at 1:00 p.m. also at the gym.  In memory of Aaron visitors are invited to wear the Rough-Rider colors. The family asks that no children be present at the services. Also, the service will follow the guidelines set in place for Covid 19. Arrangements entrusted to Conley Funeral, Fort Qu’Appelle, Raymore, Wolseley and Wynyard SK. 306-332-0555.
