Henry William Morissette Henry passed away Tuesday, July 7, 2020 at Newmarket Place. Henry was born August 14, 1927 in Tisdale, Saskatchewan to Charles and Maria Morissette. He grew up and received his education in the Florentine District. On July 23, 1948 he married Rosella Gagnon. They farmed together on the family farm until 1991. After retiring from farming he continued to plant. He enjoyed gardening well into his 90th year. He planted many spruce seedlings on the original yard site. In later years he mastered cooking and baking. We all enjoyed his zucchini muffins and meatloaf dinners. Baseball, curling, golf, bowling; Dad enjoyed them all. It was said at 90 years old he was one of the better floor curlers at the senior centre. We never grew tired of hearing the hunting cabin and fishing trip stories. Such good times! After retirement they made their second home at Almi Trailer Park at Greenwater Lake. Ten years of wonderful memories and lasting friendships. Dad enjoyed a good joke and playing the odd prank. Dad was a kind, loving and supportive. We love you Dad. Henry was predeceased by his loving wife Rosella, parents Charles and Marie Morissette and son Doug. He will be greatly missed by his daughter Linda (Dennis); children Todd and Michelle, daughter Mary-Ane; children Kevin and Beckee, Doug`s children Madison and MacKenzie and all the great grandchildren.
