Sophronia “Sophie” Walters Baker, age 69, of Five Points, Alabama passed away on July 18, 2020. She was born on December 27, 1950 to the late Wesley Walters and Dura Lee Martin Walters in LaGrange, GA. Survivors include her husband, Donald Baker; sons, David Slaton (Lisa), Scott Slaton (Cala); stepson, Thomas Baker (Janine); sister, Jerrie Lee Weaver (Bobby); nieces, Lynn Moore and Jewel Wilson; seven grandchildren; extended family and friends. Family will have visitation from 4:00 – 6:00 PM on Friday, July 24, 2020 at the Higgins Funeral Home at Hunter Allen Myhand. The funeral service will begin at 6:00 PM at the funeral home.
