It is with great sadness that the family of the late Charles Abraham Osmond announces his sudden passing at home on Saturday, July 18, 2020 with his loving wife by his side. Born in Barachois, he was the son of the late Frederick and Harriett (Nee Taylor) Osmond. Charlie leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his wife of 55 years, Rose (nee Young) Osmond, daughters, Jacqueline MacDonald (Lawrence Short), Susan (Brian Pope) both of Port aux Basques, son, Glen (Jane LeBlanc) Steady Brook, pride and joy grandchildren, Brandon (Jade) MacDonald, April (Ryan Alian), Nathen Osmond (Rachel Hillard), Nicolas Osmond and Jeremy Pope, great grandchildren, Kole MacDonald and Clarke Alian, brothers, Thomas Osmond, Alexander (Geraldine) Osmond, Chesley (Shirley) Osmond, Walter (Rachel) Osmond, Gerald (Marina) Osmond, sisters-in-laws, Mildred and Alice Osmond, brothers and sisters in laws, Arthur Young (Alice Francis), Claude Young, John Tom Young, Irene ( Sandy) Bowles, George (Annie) Young, Jane Young and Lavina Young, and a large circle of nieces, nephews, family and friends Charlie was predeceased by brothers, Reg, Cecil and Ben Osmond, sister-in-laws, Betty, Una and Mary, brother-in-law, Sandy Young and son-in-law, Dave MacDonald. In keeping with Charlie’s wishes cremation has taken place and service will be held at a later date. In memory of Charles, donations may be made to the family.
