Kevin Wayne Jones
Kevin W. Jones, 55, of Navarre, Florida, passed away, Wednesday, July 8, 2020. Kevin was a native of Lonoke, Arkansas, and the first-born of two children to the late Marshall and Elva Jones. He was a graduate of Lonoke High School, and a US Navy Veteran. Prior to full retirement in 2011, he worked for seven years as a Switchgear Technician at Electric Motor & Contracting Co. Inc. in Chesapeake, Virginia. During his time in Navarre, he enjoyed traveling, fishing, boating, hunting, and most of all, golfing. He was a loyal member of the Men’s Golf Association (MGA) at Hidden Creek Golf Club. Kevin is survived by his wife of 30 years, Julie L. Jones, of Navarre, Florida; a son, Brandyn K. Jones, of Phoenix, Arizona; and a brother, Allen Jones, of Malvern, Arkansas. A Celebration of Life will be held from 5:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m., Thursday, July 30, 2020, at the home of Chris and Amanda Gilbert, 2803 Grand Bay Court, Navarre, Florida. Lewis Funeral Home of Navarre has been entrusted with arrangements. The family requests memorial donations be made, in Kevin’s name, to the Gary Sinise Foundation.
