Joan Diane (Pitts)Power June 8, 1954 - July 14, 2020. It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Joan Diane (Pitts) Power, age 66, while visiting her family in Bonavista. Leaving to morn her husband Sidney of 47 years, her sons Louis, Sidney(Jr.), Rodney, daughters Daisy, April; 18 grandchildren and a large circle of family and friends. Joan loved her husband and children but her grandchildren were her pride and joy. She loved to vacation each year at her husband’s home in Bonavista. She had a wonderful sense of humour, loved a good conversation, a good book and loved her game of cards. Joan worked at the local restaurants in Labrador City for many years, she will surely be missed. At her request cremation will take place. Celebration of her life will take place at a later date. Donations in Joan’s memory may be made to one’s choice.
