Vera Luella Alexander Obituary

Vera Luella Alexander was born January 8, 1930 to George and Jessie Daniels (Booten) in Strang, Oklahoma.

She married William Alexander September 20, 1946 in Ada, Oklahoma.  She started working at Brockway Glass on April 15, 1975 and worked there until she retired on July 1, 1994.

Her hobbies included reading Nora Hess novels, doing word search puzzles and watching Price is Right.  She also loved going to Del Rancho for her cheeseburger.

She leaves behind her daughter, Jackie Alexander of the home who was always by her side and cared for her until the end; her daughter, Shirley York of California; her two sons, Mike Alexander of Muskogee, OK and Bill Alexander of Tulsa, OK.  Although she loved all her grandchildren and great grandchildren very much she held a special place in her heart for Clayton Riley Alexander, her grandson who was a part of her everyday life; and her granddaughter, Christi Marie Alexander who was also a close part of her daily life.

She was preceded in death by her husband, William Alexander; her daughter, Valrie Alexander and her son, Jerry Alexander.

She was an amazingly strong woman and was truly loved and will be missed tremendously.
