Francisco "Frank" Antonelli

Francisco Alfredo Antonelli, age 67, of Lapeer, died Monday, July 13, 2020. Frank was born May 21, 1953 in Highland Park, to parents Francis and Celine (Racinski) Antonelli. Frank graduated from Drake University Law School and married Cathy O’Connor on November 7, 1981 in Lapeer. Mr. Antonelli owned and operated Antonelli Law Office here in Lapeer for many many years. Frank loved sailing, he docked his sailboat at Sarnia and more recently at Caseville. Mr. and Mrs. Antonelli sailed everywhere around Lake Huron and Lake Michigan… from Sleeping Bear Dunes to the Georgian Bay. He enjoyed time spent at his parents’ home on Lake Nepessing, also playing racquetball and was an avid Michigan State University Fan. Frank supported many local charities, he was especially proud to help the Christmas for Kids Charity through the Lapeer Chamber of Commerce. Frank is survived by his children: Frank (Kati) Antonelli of Metamora and Mikayla Antonelli of Chicago; siblings: Sandy (Gary) Skellenger of Barnes Lake, Gregory Antonelli of Lapeer and Judith (Edward Sawicki) Antonelli of Lapeer; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his Wife: Cathy Antonelli; and parents: Francis and Celine Antonelli. Cremation has been entrusted to Muir Brothers Funeral Home in Lapeer. A gathering to Celebrate Frank's life will take place from Noon-4pm Saturday, August 1, 2020, at 4161 Gardner Rd., Metamora, MI 48455. Please wear your mask to the gathering. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Christmas for Kids, Lapeer Area Chamber of Commerce, 108 W. Park St., Lapeer, MI 48446. So sorry to hear about Frank’s passing. I remember him and his friendliness, beautiful woodland gardens, Chickens for fresh eggs and love for cooking and of course his kids! Wishing the best to Mikala and Frankie and family.
