Doris Ann Meadows, 65, passed away Sunday, July 12, 2020.

Doris Ann Meadows was born on October 10, 1954 to the union of Dorothy McCoy and Willie James Meadows in Charlotte, North Carolina.

Doris received her formal education in the Charlotte Mecklenburg Schools in Charlotte, North Carolina.

Doris accepted Christ as her savior at an early age and was united with Antioch Missionary Baptist Church in Charlotte, North Carolina where she served on the Hymn Choir and the Women’s Ministry. She recently joined over one year ago New Hope Baptist Church and served on the Women’s Ministry.

She was employed by the Charlotte Health Care System in Huntersville Oaks as a Nursing and Health Care CNA for twenty-six years.

In her leisure she enjoyed the Panthers playing football, going to church, spending time with her children, grandchildren, and shopping.

Doris Ann Meadows departed this life on July 12, 2020.

She leaves to cherish her loving memory: children; Dolores Ann Meadows, LaTasha Monique Meadows, Kim Renee Meadows and Delcine Meadows – Pharr (Wesley), grandchildren; Louis Meadows, QuaDerick Meadows, ZaQuita Meadows, Marquez Meadows, Jewell Roseboro, Jayla Horton, Delasia Pharr, Dontavias Roseboro and Myla Pharr, siblings; Larry Meadows and Jimmy Meadows, eight great grandchildren, two nieces, one nephew, great nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.

A Public Viewing will be held on Friday, July 17, 2020 at Boston's-Roseboro's Mortuary 4300 Statesville Rd. Charlotte, NC 28269. The viewing will be from 12:00 PM - 1:00 PM. A Graveside Service will be held at York Memorial Park 5150 S. Tryon St. Charlotte, NC. The Service will begin at 1:30 PM.
