<p>Brian J. Stantz&nbsp;</p> <p>December 19, 1969-July 12, 2020</p> <p>Brian J. Stantz, 50, of La Porte, Indiana, passed away Sunday July 12, 2020 at Porter Regional Hospital in Valparaiso, IN.</p> <p>He was born December 19, 1969 in La Porte, Indiana, the son of Roy Stantz and Diana (Jackson) Krieger.</p> <p>He enjoyed collecting coins, playing card games, and helping other people. He never met a stranger he didn&#39;t like. He loved his cats and was a Chicago Cubs fan. He also spent 21 years in the National Guard.</p> <p>He is survived by his mother Diana Krieger of La Porte; three brothers, Dwayne (Dawn) Stantz of Knox, IN, Ron (Katrina) Stantz of La Porte, IN; and Shawn (Melissia) Stantz of Marshall, AR.</p> <p>Brian was preceded in death by his father Roy.</p> <p>Arrangements are being entrusted to Haverstock Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 602 Maple Ave., La Porte, IN where cremation has taken place. Brian J. Stantz, 50, of La Porte, Indiana, passed away Sunday July 12, 2020 at Porter Regional Hospital in Valparaiso, IN.

He was born December 19, 1969 in La Porte, Indiana, the son of Roy Stantz and Diana (Jackson) Krieger.

He enjoyed collecting coins, playing card games, and helping other people. He never met a stranger he didn't like. He loved his cats and was a Chicago Cubs fan. He also spent 21 years in the National Guard.
