Geneva Graham

<p>Geneva Graham was a long-time resident of Westmoreland County and was born December 30, 1930, in Neenah, Virginia.&nbsp; She was the daughter of late Dorothy Lee and Joseph R. Graham, Sr. On Thursday, July 16, 2020, she entered into eternal rest.<br /> <br /> &nbsp;She was educated in the primary grades at Templeman School, Templeman, Virginia and attended high school at A.T. Johnson High School, where she graduated in 1950. She was a very loving person, who had a quiet, gentle spirit about her.&nbsp; She was dynamic at taking care of others, and although she did not have children of her own, she had a significant hand in rearing those in her community.&nbsp; She often shared the positive memories of the families and children that she cared for and loved. &nbsp;<br /> <br /> She was a lifetime member of Jerusalem Baptist Church.&nbsp; She enjoyed all the activities that she was involved in, including Sunday School, and her Faith and spirituality remained a central part of her life.<br /> <br /> She was a Life Member of the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People and enjoyed walking and a good game of Pinochle.<br /> <br /> She was cherished by relatives and friends including her brothers and sisters, Joseph R. Graham Jr. (deceased), Alice Graham Thigpen (deceased), Sherman L. Graham (deceased), Sarah E. Graham (deceased), Corteland E. Graham Sr., &nbsp;and Audrey I. Obituary

Geneva Graham was a long-time resident of Westmoreland County and was born December 30, 1930, in Neenah, Virginia.  She was the daughter of late Dorothy Lee and Joseph R. Graham, Sr. On Thursday, July 16, 2020, she entered into eternal rest.

 She was educated in the primary grades at Templeman School, Templeman, Virginia and attended high school at A.T. Johnson High School, where she graduated in 1950. She was a lifetime member of Jerusalem Baptist Church.  She enjoyed all the activities that she was involved in, including Sunday School, and her Faith and spirituality remained a central part of her life.

PRIVATE funeral service for Geneva Graham will be held on Thursday, July 16, 2020 at 11AM at the funeral home, Remains may be viewed from 10AM until service time at the funeral home.

Interment will follow in the Jerusalem Baptist Church Cemetery, 2404 Nomini Hall Road, Hague, Virginia.
