Bernice S. Aldridge Obituary

Bernice Saucedo Aldridge passed away peacefully at her home on July 7, 2020, she was 94 years young. She was born June 11, 1926 in Gallup, New Mexico to Jose Saucedo and Micaela Castaneda Saucedo.

She was retired from Gallup McKinley County School district, being a cafeteria cook at Red Rock Elementary. She was active with the Light House Church, Gallup Senior Citizens and the Senior Companion program. She loved to play the piano and sing during family events. She was loved and will be deeply missed.

She is survived by her children; Albert Montes formerly of San Diego, California, and Linda Martinez of Sulphur, Oklahoma. 7 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and numerous nephews and nieces.

She was preceded in death by her parents Jose and Micaela Saucedo. One son; Gilbert Saucedo. Her siblings; Trinidad Saucedo, Gabriel Saucedo Sr., Fidel Saucedo, Robert “Bob” Saucedo, Richard Saucedo, Josie Estrada, and Dolores Giron.

A Memorial Service will be scheduled for a later date, once restrictions are lifted.

Cope Memorial Chapel is entrusted with arrangements.
