Vincent Austin Allen
Bucksport- Vincent Austin Allen, 90, passed away at home with his loving family by his side along with his faithful canine companion Scamp on July 6, 2020. He was born on January 21, 1930 the son of Laura (Gilman) and Austin Allen. Vincent served in the Signal Corps of the US Army during the Korean War. He is survived by his son Stephen Allen and wife Theresa of Bucksport, granddaughters who referred to their grandfather affectionately as Boppy, Kristina Cande and husband Jeremy and Katherine Boyle and husband Adam, one sister: Caroline Fellows along with several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents he was predeceased by his loving wife of 65 years Eva Allen, two sons: Jeffrey Allen and Timothy Allen, and one sister Gloria Hayward. A graveside service will be held at 1:30pm on Thursday July 9, 2020 at Hillside Cemetery Bucksport. Arrangements are under the care of Mitchell-Tweedie Funeral Home and Cremation Services Bucksport.
