Ann Marie Scharboneau

Ann Marie Scharboneau of Middleburg, Florida passed away peacefully while surrounded by her loving family on Thursday July 2, 2020. Born February 9, 1948 in Oak Park, Illinois; Ann moved with her family to Boca Raton, Florida as a teenager where she graduated from Cardinal Gibbons High School and received a Bachelors of Education from Florida Atlantic University. Survived by her husband of 50 years, Harry Scharboneau, children; Amy Hinesly(Jimmy), Tessa Hayes (Jonathan), and Matthew Scharboneau, grandchildren; Justin Geuss, Kyle Geuss, Tristan Hayes, and Ashlyn Hayes. Ann was a dedicated wife, mother, grandmother, and friend; a friend to all and a stranger to none. There was never a kinder soul and nothing she would not have done for others. She was always selfless and put others needs above her own. Ann loved to work with children which guided her to a career in education. She taught in preschool, elementary education, and high school. Most recently Ann was an advocate for the elderly working as an Ombudsman for the State of Florida where she was presented with the volunteer of the year award. Ann has joined her parents Aloys and Georgia Ludwig and her four brothers, George, Tom, Charlie, and Al in heaven. Always loved, never forgotten, and forever missed. A private service will be held on July 8th, 2pm at Jacksonville Memory Gardens 111 Blanding Boulevard.
