<p>Thomas John Lurk passed away Saturday, July 4, 2020. He was 80 years old.</p> <p>Tom was born in Ste. Genevieve, MO. He has been a Claiborne County resident since 1967 and was a well-known farmer with Valley of the Moon farm and a mechanic with Claiborne County road department. Tom enjoyed fishing and deer hunting. He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church. He was preceded in death by his parents Tom W. Lurk and Lenora Klein Lurk and grandsons Cory Lurk and Tyler Bost.</p> <p>Tom is survived by his wife of 60 years Shirley (Nevois) Lurk; 4 children Duane Lurk (Carla), Dean Lurk, Tammy Bost (Danny), and Danny Lurk (Emily); sisters Alousie Wiegard (Bill), and Mary Drag (Clem); brothers Charlie Lurk (Roberta), Joe Lurk (Pat), John Lurk (Linda), and Bill Lurk; grandchildren Kelsey Bost, Wesley Bost, Kristen Bost, Caroline Bost, Josh Lurk, Ryan Lurk, Jacob Lurk, Lauren Lurk Powell, and Danielle Lurk.</p> <p>A private service will be held at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Port Gibson, MS on Tuesday, July 7, 2020 at 11:00 P.M. with Father Anthony Claret Onyeocha officiating. Burial will be at a later date at St. Joseph Cemetery in Port Gibson.</p> <p>In Lieu of flowers memorials can be made to St. Joseph Catholic Church, 411 Coffee St. Port Gibson, MS 39150.</p>March 28, 1940 - July 4, 202003/28/194007/04/2020
