Sidney Ashworth

SIDNEY ASHWORTH, born May 20th 1942 in Livingston Tx, went to be with the Lord Thursday, July 2nd, 2020. He is preceded in death by Delbert and Fronie Ashworth and sister Nettie Lee Trapp and brother, Del Ashworth. Left to cherish his memory: Loving wife Sandra Sue Ashworth, son Sidney Dwayne Ashworth and his wife Tina; daughters Hannah and Aundrea and son Garret. His daughters Sandra Ashworth Erp and husband Steven; daughter Kristin and son Mitchell and Susan Renee Lee; Sons Travis, Conner and Grant: 8 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren and a host of other family and friends. Sidney had a passion for his family and the outdoors both hunting and fishing with family and friends. Mr. Ashworth met his beloved wife Sandra Sue in elementary school while planting a garden for a school project and had a marriage that lasted 58 years. He worked as a sheet metal worker for 45 years. After retirement from Gowan Sheet Metal, Sidney spent his final years hunting and fishing of course, and spending time with his family, friends and dogs. A viewing is planned for Monday, July 6, 2020 from 12 pm to 1 pm at the Woodlawn Funeral Home Chapel with a graveyard service following immediately after. Pallbearers for the service are Garret Ashworth, Mitchell Erp, Travis Lee, Conner Lee, Grant Lee and Adam Quinn.
