William F Zane, Jr.

William F “Bill” Zane, Jr., 71, of Mickleton, New Jersey, passed away on Thursday, July 2, 2020. Legacy A loving and caring gentleman, Bill was devoted to his family. Nothing made him happier than the time spent with his wife, daughter, and especially his grandsons, Adam and Alex. His quick wit, funny manners, and playful ways have made memories that will surely bring smiles to everyone who knew him. He was an avid fan of Philadelphia sport teams and enjoyed season tickets for the Flyers, Sixers and the Phillies. Bill was also a loyal fan of St. Joseph’s University and enjoyed collecting Phillies baseball cards and Davy Crockett trading cards. Born in Philadelphia, PA, he attended Widener Memorial School and earned an associate’s degree from Peirce Business School. Bill was an accountant for First Pennsylvania Bank from 1968 – 1983. While working at the bank, he was a member of the bowling team and he met the love of his life, Nancy. They settled in Deptford, New Jersey in 1980 before moving to Mickleton in 2006. Bill was a price analyst for the Defense Supply Center Philadelphia where he worked for 23 years supporting the Department of Defense before retiring in 2010. Family He is the beloved husband of 40 years to Nancy D. (nee Fachinger); devoted father of Kristina A. (Terry) Lott; cherished grandfather of Adam and Alex. Bill is also survived by many loving cousins, family, and friends. Farewell Tribute Relatives and friends are invited to attend Bill’s viewing on Wednesday, 9:00 – 11:00 AM in the McGuinness Funeral Home, 573 Egg Harbor Road, Sewell, NJ where the Funeral Ceremony will follow at 11:00 AM. Interment Eglington Cemetery, Clarksboro, NJ.
