Shirlene Josie Milsap of Abilene passed away Friday, July 3. 2020 at Hendricks Medical Center. A private family service will be held on Thursday July 9, 2020. Shirlene was born March 30th, 1958 in San Diego, California to Della Trobridge and James Francis McBrady. Shirlene moved to Salt Lake City, Utah at an early age, where she lived in 1978 until moving to Abilene Texas and met Charles Milsap at a diner. They spent 42 loving years together, and had 9 wonderful children, Daughters; Melinda Courtney, Tammy Clark, Amanda Milsap, Mashanda Milsap. Sons; Robert Driffill, Ricky Milsap, Ronnie Milsap, Mike Milsap, Billy Milsap; Although she only birthed 9 children, she mothered many more. She was a strong and stubborn woman that loved to care for others. She had a good heart, and cherished those around her. She left behind 5 loving Sisters; Peggy Of Colorado, Patty of Abilene, Kathy of Salt Lake City, Sandra of Tennessee and Sharon of Arkansas. Sherliene was preceded in death by her Son Ricky Milsap, Mother Della McBrady, Father James McBrady, and Sisters Francis and Julia.
