Helen T. (Brugnone) Marketti, 91, of Sandusky, passed away peacefully late Thursday evening, July 2, 2020, in Stein Hospice Care Center, Sandusky, after a lengthy illness.
   Helen was born on February 10, 1929, to Joseph and Lena (Luzio) Brugnone, in Bellevue, OH.  She spent several years working at Bar Rubber and Clay Products, before retiring.  Over the years, she enjoyed baking, cooking, reading and drives by the water.  She had a beautiful smile and was adored by many.
   Helen is survived by her daughter, Helen R. Marketti of Sandusky; her three sisters, Rosemary Ott, Francis McClanahan and Sandra Bellard; her two brothers, James and William Brugnone; along with many nieces, nephews and other relatives.
   She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 62 years, Eugene P. "Geno"  Marketti  (September 20, 2012); a sister, Thelma Fields; and three brothers, Joseph, Frank and Anthony Brugnone.
   Visitation will be held on Thursday afternoon, July 9, 2020, from 3-5 pm at the David F. Koch Funeral and Cremation Services, 520 Columbus Avenue, Sandusky.  Due to the COVID-19 health concerns, wearing of masks (will be offered) and social spacing will be recommended.  If you're uneasy about attending, please feel free to leave a message to the family on the website.  Prayers will be recited Friday morning, July 10, 2020, at 9:40 am at the funeral home followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 am at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, 510 Columbus Avenue, Sandusky.  Fr. Chris Jesudhason officiating.  Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Sandusky.
