Lamar Bobby Crosby, age 89, of DeFuniak Springs, Florida passed away Thursday, July 2, 2020.  He was born June 11, 1931 to Fulton and Effie Crosby.

He was a lifelong resident of Walton County and loved spending time with his family.  He enjoyed fishing and taking trips to his hometown of Thomasville, Georgia.  He loved watching television and his favorite pass time was listening to the country store on WZEP AM 1460.

He was preceded in death by his parents; five brothers, Doyle, Clyde, Bruce, Charles, and Carmine; two sisters, Wilma Furney and Pauline Wright; two sons, Sandy and Jerry Crosby; and one grandchild, Lawson Crosby.

Lamar is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Bennie Crosby of DeFuniak Springs, FL; five sons, Mike Crosby and wife Carla of Thomasville, GA, Steve Crosby and wife Suzanne of Canada, Ronny Crosby and wife Anita of DeFuniak Springs, FL, Donny Crosby and wife Melinda of Westville, FL, and Rick Leddon and wife Angie of Red Bay, FL; one brother, Alan Crosby of Georgia; nine grandchildren, Brandy Gray and husband Matthew of Alabama, Dillon Crosby of Georgia, Katie Crosby of Canada, Nathaniel Crosby of DeFuniak Springs, FL, Erika Crosby of DeFuniak Springs, FL, Logan Crosby of Westville, FL, Landon Crosby of Westville, FL, Leyia Crosby Westville, FL, and Lexi Crosby and fiance Brandon of Westville, FL; three great grandchildren, Harleigh Hufsteler, Autumn Ruiz, and Jaden Gray; and numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family.

A memorial service will be held Sunday, July 12, 2020 in the chapel of Davis-Watkins Funeral Home, 1474 Highway 83 North, DeFuniak Springs, Florida 32433, beginning at 5 p.m.  A time of visitation will be held one hour prior to the service.
