<p>Hubert Aubrie Horton, 76, of Pine Bluff, died Thursday, July 2, 2020, in Rison, AR, at Green House Cottages. He was born July 22, 1943, in DeWitt, AR, to Hess and Cynthia Thompson Horton. He was retired from Mid American Bag Company after 38 years service; was a volunteer firefighter with the Watson Chapel Fire Department for 40 years; and was a member of South Pinewood Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by a son, Tommy Horton; a sister, Naomi Barlow; and a son-in-law, Ed White.</p><p><br></p><p>He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Sarah Adams Horton; one son, Tonie Horton and wife, Dee; one daughter, Tammy L. White; one sister, Virgie Carter; three grandsons, Scotty White, Shaun White and wife, Becca, and T.J. Horton and wife, Kelsey; two great-grandchildren, Reed Horton and Natalie White; his two best friends, Richard Ginnett and Charles Harper; and his furry friend, Missy.</p><p><br></p><p>Funeral services will be held at 1:30 P.M. Monday, July 6, 2020, at Ralph Robinson and Son Chapel with Rev. David Holcomb and Rev. Chris McGee officiating. Burial will follow in Fitzhugh Cemetery under the direction of Ralph Robinson and Son Funeral Directors.</p><p><br></p><p>The family will receive friends from 2:00-4:00 P.M. Sunday, July 5, 2020, at Ralph Robinson and Son Funeral Home. </p><p><br></p><p>The family would like to offer special thanks to Cottage #1 of the Green House Cottages of Rison for the care they have given to Mr. Horton.</p><p><br></p><p>Memorial contributions may be made to Arkansas Hospice.</p><p><br></p><p><br></p>
