<p>Charles Moore Sr. was born November 5, 1944 in Chicago, Illinois. He was first born to Perry Huff and Magnolia Lambert. Both parents preceded him in death. Charles was raised by Dock and Callie Moore. He attended Derossi Elementary School in Forest City, Arkansas and graduated from Lincoln High School in 1964.&nbsp; &nbsp;</p> <p>Charles accepted Christ at an early age at Friendship Baptist Church in Heth, Arkansas. &nbsp;</p> <p>n his younger years, Charles enjoyed shooting guns, fishing and traveling. He had a passion for gardening and enjoyed planting a garden every year. &nbsp;</p> <p>Charles married the love of his life, Lillie B. (Smith) Moore on November 29, 1964. God blessed that marriage of 55 years. To their union three children were born.&nbsp; &nbsp;</p> <p>Charles worked for McDonald Douglas (Boeing) for 45 years. He retired in 2011. &nbsp;</p> <p>Charles genuinely loved his family and friends. He enjoyed spending quality time at family gatherings during the holidays and traveling with his family. Charles was a loving husband, father and supportive brother. Many times putting the needs of his family above his own.</p> <p>Charles departed this life and went on to be with the Lord on Thursday, July 2, 2020 at 12:20 a.m. His siblings, Johnnie Lambert, Dorothy Ivory, Minnie Smith and Robert Lambert Jr. preceded him in death.</p> <p>He leaves to cherish his memory: his loving wife, Lillie B. Moore; children, Patricia Ann Murphy, Charles Moore Jr. and Cornelius Delon Moore; grandchildren, Juan Murphy, Bryce Murphy, Royce Murphy, Cornelius Murphy Jr., Austin Moore and Indie Moore; great grandchildren, Juan Murphy and Kiaya Murphy; sisters, Barbara Watson, Annette Wright, Cynthia Davis (Maurice) and Karen Mapp (Anthony); brother, Kenneth Lambert and a host of other relatives and friends.
