Timothy Wayne Taylor Obituary

Timothy Wayne Taylor, 55, of Phoenix, Arizona passed away on Saturday, June 27, 2020 due to heart complications. He was born to Sonia Gantt and Cletus Earl Taylor on April 27, 1965 in Kenosha, Wisconsin. The family moved to Arizona when he was two years old and have resided there ever since. He is survived by his Mother Sonia Gantt and his Father Cletus Earl Taylor; his sister Deborah Kay Gregoire; his wife Moneca Vencer Taylor; his two beloved children Heather Lanelle Taylor and Ryan Jacob Taylor along with daughter in law Katie Taylor; his nine beautiful grandchildren Zachary Loihle, Brett Bowlin, Taylor Loihle, Heidi Loihle, Jayden Loihle, Anden Harbeck, Taylee Harbeck, Laiklyn Taylor and Eastlie Taylor. Tim attended elementary school at Holiday Park School, middle school at Desert Sands Middle School, and high school at West Phoenix High School and Trevor G. Brown High School where he was a star football player. Tim married Melanie Lee Taylor in 1984. They had their daughter Heather and then their son Ryan. Tim was the most dedicated Daddy and spent all of his time with his family. He absolutely loved and adored his children, as they did him. He was the hardest working man that always did his best in everything he did. He poured his heart and soul into his family. He loved to be funny, to make jokes, to play with his children and to serve the youth of his church. As his children grew up and had his grandbabies, he stayed young with them. He became Poppy to them and to all those around. His grandbabies cherished him. He was not your typical Father or Grandfather. He was always there for them and put in the extra time so they all knew how important they were to him. Tim was a beloved friend to so many worldwide. He was given many nicknames like “The Godfather”. He helped anyone in need and would immediately make them feel like family. He later married again in 2018 to Moneca Vencer Taylor. Though he was taken from her early, he gave his heart and soul to her as well and will be dearly missed. Tim will be remembered as the greatest Dad, Poppy and Friend to all. He was a gentle giant. He had so much more love to give and to receive. His children and grandchildren are his legacy, which he was so very proud of them.
