Paul David Dorr

<p id="descr" class="show-read-more" itemprop="description"> Mr. Paul David Dorr, age 40, of Cobbtown, passed away on Tuesday, October 31, 2017 at his residence. Mr. Dorr was born on December 17, 1976 to Rev. Jerald and Mrs. Peggy Dorr. He moved from Waycross to Tattnall County in 1993. He graduated from Tattnall County High School and Swainsboro Technical College with a Degree in Computer Aided Drafting Design, and attended East Georgia College. Mr. Dorr worked with Village Pizza in Reidsville and in Metter for a number of years. He was known to be a wonderful cook. He was of the Baptist faith and a member at Twin Oaks Baptist Church. In his spare time he enjoyed gardening, tending to his flowers, pecan trees and most any activity in the outdoors. <br/>Mr. Dorr was preceded in death by his grandparents.<br/>He is survived by his parents, Rev. Jerald Dorr(Peggy) of Cobbtown; sister and brother-in-law, Angela Dorr Hartley( Jason) of Ludowici; nieces, Grace Elizabeth and Sophia Arabella Hartley all of Ludowici. Several aunts, uncles, cousins and friends also survive. <br/>Visitation for Mr. Dorr will be held on Thursday evening, November 02, 2017 from 5-7p.m. at Kennedy-Brannen Funeral Homes, Cobbtown Chapel. Funeral services will be conducted on Friday afternoon, November 3, 2017 at 2p.m. from Evergreen Baptist Church with the Reverends John Geerdes and James Bland officiating. Mr. Dorr will lie in state at the church one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. <br/>Pallbearers will be Jonathan Strickland, Willie Workman, Tim Hunnicutt, Tracy Johnson, Mark Carroll and George McKenzie. <br/>In lieu of flowers the family requests that remembrances be made to the Evergreen Cemetery Fund c/o Robert West 6611 Hwy 129 S.
